The combination of capturing the spirit of the animal while bringing out the natural beauty of the wood is Thomas Thomas' trademark.
His creations start with an idea and that idea is transformed into reality through skillful, honest use of materials, combined with studied understanding of the animal's anatomy and majesty.
Wood is layered and a 3-dimensional form is born. It is not just a static figure. It is a figure that can move. Many of Thomas Thomas' sculptures are made with movable parts, head swivels, manes move when petted and tails and arms swing.
